Connecticut National Pit Bull Awareness Day October 24th, 2009 all across the USA!! Find a Pit Bull Awareness Day near you! This site has a WEALTH of information for you to educate yourself with everything Pit Bull. It is run entirely by unpaid volunteers who devote their lives to this amazing breed. If you are an animal lover, then I am sure you already know about Best Friends. They are amazing. True evidence of the good that man is capable of doing. I can't say enough great things about them. They are for ALL animals, not just Pit Bulls, but you can tell by their campaigns and resources that Pit Bulls hold a special place in their hearts. I can't thank them enough for the good they do. This holiday season, please consider "sponsoring" an animal thru them. It is unique, affordable, and obviously a very worthwhile effort. Truly committed group of volunteers who hold fundraisers throughout the year. They rescue both Pit Bulls and Rottwieler breeds. All Or Nothing Tattoo-Brandon Bond is an amazing artist who happens to be an activist for pit bulls. Check out his site and see what he is doing to help dogs rescued from Michael Vick.
